Clearly, we humans are a (if not "the") major factor in global warming. Green house gases are belching out of our factories, service industries, cars, and homes, temperatures are rising, the oceans are changing, animals are suffering, and the poor are starting to suffer because of our excesses and drive for "economic development."
I remember a BBC series on climate change that was posted last year. In addition to presenting some excellent scientific information, it gave some great suggestions that individuals can help stop and reverse global warming. One of them was to invest in advanced technologies that alleviate global warming. This was one of the reasons that, when I needed to buy a vehicle, I bought a Prius instead of a conventionally powered car.
